Adelaide Elizabeth (Koenders) Terbrack
December 14, 1856 - August 11, 1923
Information from her obituary after her death on August 12, 1923 is as 
follows. "Adelaide Koenders was born December 14, 1856 at London, Ontario.  In 
the spring of 1857 the family moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she attended the 
Sisters school of the Notre Dams at St. Mary's parish.  She was married to 
Anton Terbrack in 1877.   Two years later they moved to Ruth, Michigan, then a 
wilderness and cleared a farm on which they have since lived. She leaves to 
mourn her loss, a loving husband and eight children, Mrs. Joseph Clor, Mrs. 
Peter Clor, Mrs. Fred Schumacher and Mrs. Henry Hessling Jr.. and four sons. 
Anton, Fred, Henry and John, all of Ruth. Also thirty grandchildren.  Two 
brothers, John B. Koenders of Grand Rapids, and Bernard Koenders of Mt. Clemens 
and two sisters Mrs. Mary Van Dalen of Detroit and Catherine Schock of Ruth".
