Marius Raymond Terbrack
January 20, 1928 – October 29, 1951
Ferndale Man Dies In Auto Crash Monday
Marius Terbrack, 22, Ferndale, formerly of Ruth, was killed Monday afternoon in 
an automobile accident on M-53, one mile south of the Huron County line.   He 
died of a fractured skull and a crushed chest, which he suffered when his car 
crashed into the rear of a milk truck driven by Clare Morris Brown, 22, 
Tyre.    State police report that both vehicles were traveling south at the 
time of the mishap.   The right front of the Terbrack car struck the left rear 
of the Brown truck.   The car rolled over after the collision.   Coroner Henry 
Hacker, Sandusky, and state police Sgt.  John C.  Carstensen and trooper 
Francis DesJardins investigated.   The accident occurred at 12:10 p.m.   Mr.  
Terbrack was born January 20, 1928 in Sherman Township.   The remains are at 
the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.  John Terbrack, Ruth.   Rosary services 
will be held in the home at 8 p.m.  Thursday and at 9:30 p.m.  by the Knights 
of Columbus Council.   Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday from SS 
Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ruth.   Burial will be in the church 
cemetery.    Marius is survived by his parents, five brothers: Herbert, Marvin, 
Clarence, John Jr.  and Donald, all of Ruth, eight sisters: Mrs. Evelyn 
(Arthur) Learman, Harbor Beach; Mrs. Jeannette (Frank) Seidl, Ferndale; Mrs. 
Rita (Arthur) Glaza, Mrs. Matilda (William) Johnson and Misses Adelaide, Alice 
and Rosalie, all of Ruth and Mrs. Beatrice (Norman) Glaza, Ferndale; and his 
grandmother, Mrs.  Joseph Booms, Sr.  Harbor Beach.
