Terbrack, 71, Ruth, died Sunday, August 6, 1989, at Huron Memorial Hospital, Bad Axe, after a long illness. He was born September 20, 1917 in Sherman Township, son of the late Mary (Artman) Terbrack. He married Leona Terbrack January 20, 1940 at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, Harbor Beach. Mr. Terbrack graduated from Sts. Peter and Paul Elementary School, Ruth. He was a mechanic at Leroy Essenmacher Service Station eight years and was a custodian at Sts. Peter and Paul School 23 years and was school bus driver 26 years. He was employed by Wickes Corporation, Saginaw, from 1976 until retiring in 1984. He was a lifelong resident of Ruth and was a member of the Sherman Township firefighters 35 years--from 1946 until he retired in 1981. He was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Ruth. Surviving are his wife, Leona Terbrack, Ruth; one daughter, Mrs. Richard A. (Ida Mae) Messing, Ruth; two sons, Aubrey Terbrack, Troy, and Darrell Terbrack, Saginaw; six grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Andrew (Marie); Seidl, Huntington Woods, Mrs. LaVern (Lucille) Booms, Eddenville, Mrs. Donald (Elaine) Bismack, Berkley; and two brothers, Nicholas Terbrack, Royal Oak, and Elmer Terbrack, Grand Rapids. Preceding him in death were two brothers, Joseph and Harold Terbrack, and one infant sister, Doris Terbrack. Services were 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Richard Bokinskie, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were made by Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home, Ubly. Published Minden City Herald Thursday August 10, 1989.
