Huron Daily Tribune
Cecelia Terbrack, 85, Ruth, died March 7 at Autumnwood, Deckerville, after a 
short illness.
She was born February 26, 1901 in Sand Beach Township, daughter of the late 
Joseph and Matilda (Wolschleger) Booms.  She married John Terbrack at St. 
Anthony’s Catholic Church, Helena, February 26, 1919.  He preceded her in 
death December 16, 1954.  She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic 
Church Ruth, since 1919 and a member of the Arch confraternity of Christian 
Mothers of Ruth.

Surviving are eight daughters:  Mrs. Arthur (Evelyn) Learman, Harbor Beach; 
Mrs. Frank (Jeanette) Seidl, Ferndale; Mrs. Arthur (Rita) Glaza, Minden City; 
Mrs. Norman (Beatrice) Glaza, Hazel Park; Mrs. Bill (Matilda) Johnson, 
Gaylord; Mrs. Jerome (Adalaide) Block, Ruth; Mrs. Kenneth (Alice) Sadro, Bad 
Axe; and Mrs. Richard (Rosalia) Holdwick, Bad Axe, four sons: Marvin Terbrack 
Harbor Beach; Clarence Terbrack, Troy; John Terbrack, Southgate; and Donald 
Terbrack, Ruth.  78 grandchildren, 98 great-grandchildren, one brother, Allen 
Booms, Harbor Beach and four sisters, Helen Schultz, Harbor Beach Mary Kramer, 
Ruth, Frances Booms, Pigeon and Mrs. Elmer (Florence) Ramisch, Minden City.  
She was preceded in death by four children, Herbert Terbrack, Herman Terbrack, 
Marius Terbrack and Gerald Terbrack and three grandchildren.

Services were 11 a.m. Monday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ruth.  
The Rev. Loren Kalinowski, pastor officiated.  Burial was in the church 
cemetery.
