Bad Axe, Jan 1 -- Alfred D. Terwilliger, 53, life long resident of this vicinity, 
died Monday afternoon in Hubbard Memorial hospital after a long illness. He was 
born June 7, 1898 in Verona Twp. Mr. Terwilliger is survived by two sons, Donald 
in the Philippine Islands, and Neil, Harbor Beach, three grandchildren, a brother, 
Louis Terwilliger, and a sister, Miss Ardis Terwilliger, both of Bad Axe. Remains 
are in Alden A. MacAlpine funeral home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. 
Thurs. Rev Duane Wessmar, pastor of the Assembly of God ch will officiate. Burial 
will be in Colfax Cemetery.
