She was born October 4, 1909 in Parisville, daughter of the late Frank and Laura (Peruski) Grifka. She married Julius Trepkoski on October 21, 1929 at St. May's Catholic Church in Parisville. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1990. Mrs. Trepkoski attended Parisville Rural Schools. She worked in Detroit at the L.A. Young Spring and Wire Corp-. until 1938. She returned to Paris Township to farm with her husband and raise a family. She has been a parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church since 1938, and she was a member of the church's Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Ubly and Parisville Senior Citizens. She moved to Ubly in 1976. Surviving are one son, Robert Trepkoski and his wife, Patricia, of Zephyrhills, Florida; two daughters, Patricia Balogh and her husband, Ted, of Dearborn Heights and Joyce Cook of Midland; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four, sisters, Catherine Wojtalewicz of Ubly, Irene Maurer and her husband, James, of Warren, Rita O'Berski and her husband, Isadore, of Ruth, and Bernice Gryczka and her husband, Jack, of Crystal Lake, Illinois; four brothers, Raymond Grifka and his wife, Ruth, of Warren, Richard Grifka and his wife, Patricia, of Flint, Norbert Grifka and his wife, Charlotte, of Troy and Eugene Grifka and his wife, Billie, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Minnie Trepkoski; Emma Grifka and, Josephine Chinoski and two brothers, Arthur and Herbert Grifka. Services were Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Chinch. The Rev. Michael Dunckel, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were conducted by the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly.
