Monica Marion (Minnie) Grifka Trepkoski
March 1, 1914 - April 27, 1991
Minnie M. Trepkoskl, 77, Ubly, died Saturday, April 27, 1991, at Saginaw 
General Hospital, Saginaw, after a short illness.   She was born March 1, 
1914, in Parisville, daughter of the late Frank and Laura (Peruski) Grifka.  
She married Ira Trepkoskl on November 22, 1936 at St. Mary's Catholic 
Church, Parisville.  She attended grade school at St. Mary's and worked in 
Detroit at the Burrough's Adding Machine Company.  She lived in Detroit 
until 1946.  Mrs. Trepkoski moved to Ubly in 1947 and was a member of St. 
John’s Catholic Church since that.  She retired from Hamill Manufacturing in 
1978.  She was a member of St. John's Christian Mothers Circle 1, St. Ann's 
Group, and the Ubly and Argyle Senior Citizens. 

Surviving are her husband, Ira, Ubly; two daughters, Janice (Robert) Erdman, 
Minden City, and Sharlyn (Joel) Weber, Ruth; seven grandchildren; five 
sisters, Catherine Wojtalewicz, Ubly; Clara Trepkoski, Ubly, Irene (James) 
Maurer,  Warren, Rita (Isadore) Oberski, Ruth, and Bernice (Jack) Grifka, 
Chicago, Illinois; four brothers, Raymond Grifka, Warren, Richard Grifka, 
Flint, Norbert Grifka, Troy, and Eugene Grifka, Baton Rouge, Louisana.  She 
was preceded in death by one son, Larry; one sister, Josephine Chinoski; and 
two brothers, Herbert Grifka and Arthur Grifka. 

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Ubly.  
The Rev. Peter Gaspeny, pastor, officiated.  Burial was in the church 
cemetery.  Arrangements were made by the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral. Home,
