She was born January 7, 1934, in Bad Axe, daughter of the late Malcolm and Mary (McIntosh) Sweeney. She married James Trepkowski on September 25, 1954, in Bad Axe. Pat graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1952 and went to nursing school in Saginaw. Pat was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, and also worked at the McDonald Food and Family Center in Bad Axe. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a long-time active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rapson and a dedicated member of the Daughters of Isabella. Pat is survived by two sons, Ken (Judy) Trepkowski of Brunswick, Ohio, and Ron (Kathy) Trepkowski of Essexville; one daughter, Diane (Randy) McFarland of Cass City; two daughters-in-law, Mary Lou Trepkowski of Sterling Heights and Kylie Trepkowski of Howell; 11 grandchildren, Jerry (Rose), Jason (Amber), Paul (Erin), Steven, Sarah (Paul), James (Liz), Teresa (Kurt), Andrew, Sean, Shane and fiancé, Carrie, and Collin; six great-grandchildren, Caleb, Natalya, Naomi, Oliver, Sabrina, Eva; six brothers, Joe (Hilda) Sweeney, Ed Sweeney, Don (Denise) Sweeney, Ray (JoAnn) Sweeney, Jerry (Sue) Sweeney, Bill (Kathie) Sweeney; three sisters, Marie McNeil, Carol (Don) Baird, Kathy (Dan) Cregeur; several aunts and uncles; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Trepkowski; two sons, Michael and Thomas Trepkowski; infant daughter, Donna; three sisters, Shirley Forster, Helen Morley and Ann Dobis; and one brother, Richard Sweeney. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday St. Hubert Parish-St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rapson, with Fr. Rob Howe, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitors may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe or from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the church. A Daughters of Isabella rosary will be offered at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A scripture service will be offered at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
