James Joseph Trepkowski
March 14, 1930 - April 23, 1994
James J. Trepkowski, 64, of Bad Axe, died Saturday, April 23, 1994, at the 
Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe.  He was born March 14, 1930 
in Hamtramck, son of die late Walter and Minnie (Jaskowski) Trepkowski.   He 
married Patricia Sweeney September 25, 1954 at St. Columbkille Catholic 
Church in Sheridan Comers.  Mr. Trepkowski attended Cedardale Country School 
of Palms.  He worked for the Bad Axe Grain and Agri Sales for 30years.  He 
had been a parishioner of SL Joseph’s Catholic Church of Rapson since 1950.  
He also was a member of the Holy Name Society, vice-president of St. 
Joseph’s Cemetery Board, and a committee member of Boy Scout Group No. 504, 
of Bad Axe. 

Surviving are his wife, Patricia; four sons, Kenneth and his wife, Judith, 
of Beaverton, Ore., Michael and his wife, Mary Lou, of Sterling Heights, 
Ronald and his wife, Kathleen, of Essexville, and Thomas of Bad Axe; one 
daughter. Mrs. Randy (Diane) McFarland of Cass City; 10 grandchildren; one 
brother, Deward and his wife, Peggy, of Allen Park; four sisters, Betty 
Cornett of Bad Axe, Mrs. Kenneth (Doris) Holz of Bad Axe, Mrs. Wilburt (Mary 
Ann) Brown of Bad Axe, and Mrs. Gerald (Nancy) Smith of Bay City.  Services 
were Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Chinch of Rapson.  The Rev. John 
Cotter, pastor, officiated.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  Published
