He was born May 31, 1914 in Parisville, son of the late Joseph and Otillie (Gwisdalla) Trepkoski. He married Irene Danielski on February 28, 1938 at St May's Catholic Church of Parisville. She preceded him in death on January 20, 1992. He attended Schemka Country School. He farmed with his family until 1975. He was a Trustee for Paris Township for many, years. He was a member of the Ruth Knights of Columbus Council #3823. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary’s Parish and a member of their Ushers Club. He was a former member of the Michigan Milk Producers Association and a member of the Huron County Farm Bureau. He was an avid euchre player. Surviving are four sons, Richard Trepkowski and his wife, Deanna, of Ubly, Joseph Trepkoski and his wife, Eileen, of Ubly, John Trepkowski and his wife, Nona, of Sandusky, and Timothy Trepkowski and his special friend, Jackie Billot, of Albany, Georgia; two daughters, Phyllis Dutkiewicz and her husband, Thomas, of Leonard, Michigan, and Arlene Susalla and her husband, Donald, of Utica; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bertha Swartz, of Minden City. He was preceded in death by five sisters, Clara Cook, Martha Jaroch, Blanche Makowski, Laura Alent and Margaret Klebba; and four brothers, Leo, Walter, Julius and Ira Trepkoski. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am. at St Mary's Church of Parisville. Rev. Charles Hammond, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday at the Zinger- Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly will be from .1:00 to 9:30 pm and on Thursday from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. There will be a Parish Wake Service on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. by Fr. Hammond at the funeral home.
