Helen Marie (Alent) Ulfig  
September 26, 1926 – March 26, 2024
Helen Marie Ulfig, age 97, of Bad Axe, passed away peacefully at her home on 
Tuesday, March 26, 2024 with her family at her side.  She was born September 26, 
1926 in Ubly, daughter of the late Xavier and Laura (Trepkowski) Alent.  She 
married Steven Ulfig on October 13, 1951.  He preceded her in death on October 
23, 2002.  She loved her family, playing cards and being outside.

Helen is survived by her children: Sharon (Gordon), Michael, Robert (Tatiana), 
Steven (Patricia) and Laurie (Neil).  She is also survived by her nine 
grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.  
Brothers, David (MaryAnn) and Eugene.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 11 am at 
St. Hubert's Parish – Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe.  Visitation will 
be held on Wednesday April 3, 2024 from 10 am until the service time at 11 am.  
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery of Parisville.  Memorials may be offered 
to the family's discretionary fund.  The family would like to thank everyone 
involved in our mother's care. Your kindness and compassion went above and
