Alice M. Vahovick, 73, of Chesterfield, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015.
 
She was born March 1, 1941, in Sherman Township.  
 
Alice was a bus driver for the Warren Consolidated Schools for 22 years. She 
enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, playing euchre and spending time with her 
grandkids. 

Beloved wife of Kenneth. Loving mother of Susan (Thomas) Schultes, Pamela 
(Randall) Basar, Cheryl (Marvin) Wallace and Brian (Sheri) Vahovick. Dearest 
grandmother of nine grandchildren and four great-grandsons. Dear sister of 
Ronald, Benjamin, Harry, Clifford and Michael Messing, Carol Dropeski, Lillian 
Slater and Faye Karpovich.                   She will lie in-state from 10 a.m. 
until the liturgy at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Queen of Creation Church, 
50931 Maria, New Baltimore. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 
Holly.

Visitation will be from 2:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, February 5, at Gendernalik 
Funeral Home, 35259 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore.
