Charles  W. VanWormer
October 30, 1924 – September 3, 1959
Charles W.  VanWormer, 34, former Port Huron resident where he was employed by 
the Michigan Motor Freight Company, died Thursday in Pomona California after a 
long illness.   Mr.  VanWormer was born October 30, 1924 in Yale, son of Mr.  
& Mr.  John W.  VanWormer.   He married Eleanor Booms, Harbor Beach in July, 
1947.   

He is survived by his widow; 2 sons: Charles and Vernon VanWormer; his mother, 
Mrs. Marion LaRue and a sister, Mrs. Stanley Bowers, both of Port Huron and 
three uncles: Raymond and William VanWormer, Port Huron; and Justin VanWormer, 
Detroit.  

The remains are in the Blackman funeral home, Pomona.   Requiem Mass will be 
sung at 11:30.
