Theresa B. (Inda) Verner
May 19, 1910 - March 5, 2013
Theresa B. Verner, 102, of Port Austin, died Tuesday March 5, 2013, at Huron 
Medical Center.   She was born May 19, 1910, in Dwight Township, daughter of 
the late Michael and Agnes (Ignash) Inda.  She and Fred Yaroch were married 
October 17, 1939, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Port Austin.  Fred 
preceded her in death in February 1962.  Theresa then married Theodore “Ted” 
Verner on August 17, 1989.  Ted preceded her in death on November 7, 2007.  
She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, cooking, gardening, traveling and 
fishing.  She owned and operated the Crest View Motel, in Charlotte, for 25 
years. 

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.  Theresa was preceded in death 
by her sisters, Gertrude Horetski, Christina Peyok, Victoria Inda, Florence 
Ruth and Alice Inda; and her brothers, William and Lawrence Inda.

Funeral Mass will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday March 7, 2013, at St. Michael’s 
Catholic Church in Port Austin.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.  
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday 
at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.  Published thumbnet.net
