Visga July 18, 1923 – June 30, 1967 Anthony P. Visga, 43, of 4514 Gratiot Road, was stricken Friday while at work at the Detroit Edison Company St. Clair Power Plant. He was pronounced dead on arrival at River District Hospital. Mr. Visga was born July 18, 1923 in Detroit. He attended schools in Detroit. Mr. Visag had been employed at the Power Plant the last six months and was previously employed as a carpenter for the D’Arcy Construction Company. A veteran of World War II, he served with the Seventh Infantry in Europe. He was a member of Local No. 483 Hog Cutters and Marysville Post American Legion. He and Evelyn H. Miller were married January 22, 1949 in Marysville. He is survived by his widow, a son, Robert A. Visga, Port Huron, a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth A. Pauly, St, Clair, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Visga, Port Huron, a brother, Theodore Visga, Port Huron, four sisters, Mrs. Theresa A. Hill and Mrs. Virginia A. Hill both of Smiths Creek; Mrs. Florence Prentice, Port Huron and Mrs. Martha Gentner, Marysville, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The remains are in Karrer Simpson Funeral Homes.
