Elizabeth M. (Nalepa) Visga
February 9, 1922 - May 12, 2018
Elizabeth M. (Nalepa) Visga, 96, of Port Huron, passed into the arms of the 
Lord on Saturday, May 12, 2018.
She was born February 9, 1922 in Flint to the late Cyril and Katrina (Janoski) 
Nalepa.  She married Leo J. Visga.  He preceded her in death.

Elizabeth was a lifelong resident of the Port Huron area and retired from 
Prestolite.  She loved playing bingo.
She is survived by four daughters, Christine (Roger) St. Gelais, Diane 
Fallmann, Merry (Daniel) Thomas and Martha (Daniel) Dorland; nine 
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Cyril Jerry (Pat) Nalepa; two 
sisters-in-law, Marie and Elsie Nalepa; and several nieces and nephews.  She 
was preceded in death by her husband, Leo J. Visga; son, Robert J. Visga; 
grandson, Brian Jeffrey Visga; son-in-law, Michael Fallmann; two brothers, Paul 
and Frank Nalepa; and sister, Helen Deising.
Special thank you to Serenity Staff at Marwood Nursing and Rehab and McLaren 
Hospice.  As per Elizabeth’s request, there is no visitation.  Cremation 
arrangements by Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.  Published Karrer-Simpson Funeral
