Stephen Tony Visga
December 25, 1891 - April 30. 1963
Port Huron - Stephen T. Visga, 71, retired employee of the Morton Salt 
Company died unexpectedly today in his home, 551 St. James Street, 
Marysville.  Mr. Visga was born December 25, 1891, in Parisville, Michigan.  
He and Miss Verna Kalka St. George were married June 10, 1930.  Mr. Visga 
was a member of the Polish Alliance of America and retired from Morton Salt 
in 1958 after 25 years service.  He lived in Port Huron 42 years 

Mr. Visga is survived by his widow; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Raymond 
Johnson, Chicago, Mrs. Theresa L. Kanaski, Port Huron, and Mrs. Charles 
Buchholtz, Utica; a stepson, Edmund Murawski, Chicago, Illinois; five 
brothers, John Visga, and Peter L. Visga, Marysville; Sylvester Visga, St. 
Clair, and Edward Visga, Detroit; a sister, Mrs. Edward Weiss, Port: Huron; 
20 step grandchildren,! and 45 great step grandchildren.

The remains are in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are 
in complete.  Published Tuesday Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) April 
30. 1963.

VISGA, STEPHEN T. Passed away April 30 at his home, 551 St. James, 
Marysvllle.  Funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday from St. Christopher Church, 
Marysvllle. I nterment Mt. Hope Cemetery.  The remains are in Karrer-Slmpson 
Funeral Home, Port Huron where the Rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. 
today.  Published Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Thursday May 2, 1963.
