Visga, 68, resident of Port Huron 38 years, unexpectedly Friday in his home, 1259 Minnesota Road. Mr. Visga was born June 21, died 1895, in Parisville, Michigan. He was a veteran of War I and served in the U.S. Army. He was a former employee of the Prestolite Wire and Cable Division of Eltra Corp., retiring in I960. Mr. Visga also was a member of Leo F. White Barracks No. 659, Veterans of World War I of the United States. Mr. Visga is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edward Weiss, Port Huron; four brothers, Frank and John Visga, both of Port Huron; Sylvester R. Visga, St. Clair, and Edward Visga, Detroit, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, Marysville. Rev. Joseph P. McElgunn, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Marysville Riverlawn Cemetery under the auspices of Leo F. Wnite Barracks. The remains are in Karrer- Simpson Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited at p.m. Sunday. Published Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Saturday December 28, 1963.
