Edward Tony Visga
October 10, 1911 - January 1, 1981
DETROIT - Edward Visga, 69, of 97 Winder, died Thursday, January 1, 1981, in 
Harper Hospital.  He was born October 10, 1911, in Harbor Beach, and had 
lived in Detroit for 25 years.  Mr. Visga was a retired employee of the 
Detroit Edison Co. 

He is survived by two sons, Sylvester E. and John E.; a daughter, Mrs. Dora 
J. Woodard; a brother, John; and a sister, Mrs. Edward (Anna) Weiss, all of 
Port Huron; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.  Funeral arrangements by 
the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home, Port Huron, are incomplete.  Published

DETROIT Services for Edward Visga, 69, of 97 Winder, will be held at 10 a.m. 
Wednesday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, Marysville.  The Rev. Joseph 
P. McElgunn, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery.   
Pallbearers will be Eugene M. and Bryon Visga, Gordon and Roy Woodard and 
Leo and Dale Nicefield. Honorary pallbearers will be Clarence Gentner and 
Eugene Melczarczyk.  Mr. Visga died Thursday, January 1, 1981, in Harper 
Hospital.  Visiting hours in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home, Port Huron, 
are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.  A rosary will be recited at 8:15 
p.m. today in the funeral home.  Published Times Herald (Port Huron,
