Ralph Henry Volmering 
March 26, 1913 - June 9, 1989
Ralph H. Volmering, 76, - retired Sherman Township farmer died Friday, June 
9, 1989, in Harbor Beach Community Hospital after a long illness.  He was 
born March 26, 1913 in Sherman Township, son of the later Joseph and Rosie 
(Swartz) Volmering.   He married Ernestine Wolschlager October 6. 1945 in 
Bad Axe.  Mr. Volmering was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Helena, 
and its former men’s club. 

Surviving are his wife, Ernestine, Harbor Beach, and 33 nieces and nephews.  
Services were 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church.  The Rev. 
Thomas McNamara, pastor at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, Harbor 
Beach, officiated.  Burial was in St. Anthony Cemetery.   A scripture 
service was conducted 8 p.m. Sunday at Ramsey Funeral Home, Harbor Beach.
