Norman Charles Wahla, 53,
died Sun in his home in Ruth, of a heart attack. He was born Dec 31, 1893 in 
Forestville. Mr Wahla worked as a clerk in the Ruth bank for 30 years and served 
as secretary of Sherman Twp for 23 yrs. He also was secretary treasurer of the 
Knights of Columbus for 12 years. Mr Wahla is survived by his wife and two 
children, Leo and Marjorie who are living at home; a brother Elmer Wahla of 
Lincoln Park; and three sisters, Mrs Ed Baier, Denver CO, Mrs John Prince, Detroit 
and Miss Freda Wahla, Minden City. Funeral services will be held Thurs at 9:30 
a.m. with Fr Frank Kaufman officiating. Burial in Ruth cemetery.
