Born in 1878 in Parish Twp, he was a lifelong resident of the Thumb. He started work as a boy in a general store in Ruth. He was later manager of the Wahla Mercantile company in Minden City before he returned for several years to the farm where he was born. Mr. Warchock came in 1917 to Ubly where he operated a general store about 25 years until he sold the business. He was Ubly Village Treasurer 25 years. He resigned this year because of his health. He is survived by a stepdaughter, Mrs Stephen Parrish, Agallala, Neb. His wife, Anna, died April 5, 1937. Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Sat in St John the Evangelist Cath ch, Rev Stanley A Kilar will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Business places of Ubly will close during the funeral. Remains are in Edward Zinger & Son funeral home where Fr Kilar will conduct Rosary devotions at 9 p.m. Thurs.
