Ubly, Aug 18 -- Remains of Mrs. Elizabeth Werm, 74, mother of Rev. E. R. Werm, 
past of St Columbkille Cath ch in Sheridan Twp, Huron County, will arrive today 
at the Edward Zinger and Son funeral home in Ubly from Santa Monica, CA, where 
Mrs Werm died Friday.  

Fr Werm will be celebrant of Solemn Requiem High Mass for his mother at 10 
a.m. Wed in St Columbkille church. Priests of the Thumb Deanery will assist. 
Other priests will attend services. Burial will be in the church cemetery. 
Rosary devotionals will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Tues in Zinger funeral home. 

Born April 27, 1878, in Lautenberg, Poland, Mrs. Werm came when she was seven 
years old to the U S. She spent her childhood in Philadelphia and lived in PA, 
IL and MI until 1923 when she moved to CA. She lived there since except for a 
few years with her son in Washington, DC and Sheridan Twp. Mrs. Werm, widow of 
Richard Werm, is survived by her son, a sister, Mrs. Marie DeGion, Hollywood CA 
and a niece, Mrs. Elmer Redfern, Van Nuys, CA.
