Edward Vincent Winczner July 18, 1932 - October 25, 2022 Edward Winczner, age 90, of Imlay City, Michigan died Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Serenity Gardens Assisted Living of Imlay City, Michigan. Edward Vincent Winczner was born July 18, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. He is the son of the late Edward and the late Jeanette (Feack) Winczner. Edward grew up in Roseville, Michigan. He is a graduate of Lake Shore High School in St. Clair Shores. Edward proudly served in the United States Army from 1953-1954 during the Korean War. He married Marsha Honick on January 19, 1991 in Warren, Michigan. He was employed as a Data Processor by Chrysler Corporation in the IT/Data Processing departments at the Jefferson, Hamtramck, and the Highland Park Plants. Edward enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening. He became an animal activist. He is survived by: his wife, Marsha Winczner; sister, Sharon Sheridan of Chesterfield Twp., Michigan; his children, Ed (Lori) Winczner of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Joyce (Mike) Piccinini of Shelby Township, Michigan, William (Debbie) Winczner of Melvindale, Michigan, Kenneth (Maria) Winczner of Huntington Woods, Michigan, Vern (Cindy) Winczner of Macomb, Michigan, and Geralyn (Fredo) LoPiccolo of Imlay City, Michigan; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Edward was preceded in death by his siblings, Jeannie Billiet, Peggy Schalter, Patty Higgins, and Sherilyn "Mickey" Winczner. The funeral will be held 11:00 am, Friday, October 28, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 700 Maple Vista, Imlay City, Michigan. Reverend Fr. Noel Cornelio, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will officiate. The family will be available for visitation 10-11 am, Friday, October 28th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
