Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Thursday from 1-8 pm. Or Friday at the church from 10 am. until the service time at 11 am. A scripture service will be offered on Thursday at 7 pm at the funeral home. Family of the Deceased Survived by: wife-Jo (Barry) Wolschlager of Bad Axe. 1 son-Todd Wolschlager of Bad Axe. Parents-Stanley and Josephine Wolschlager of Bad Axe. Mother-in-law- Bernice Barry of Bad Axe. Father-in-law-Eugene (John) Barry of Elkton. 1 brother-Gordon (Rhonda) Wolschlager. 2 sisters-Rose Hinman and Judy Wolschlager. 2 brothers-in-law-James (Kayla) Barry and Jeff Barry. 4 sisters-in- law-Jonnie Peyerk, Jean Dean, Jeryl Purtell and Jana Barry. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Biography Steven S. Wolschlager, age 58, of Bad Axe, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at his home with family at his side, following a brave battle with cancer. He was born on September 24, 1956 son of Stanley and Josephine (Pikula) Wolschlager. He married Jo Barry on April 11, 1981 in St. Columbkille Catholic Church. Steven owned and operated ABC Oil and Gas for 20 years and was co-owner of the original D & W Salvage. He had also worked for Huron & Eastern Railroad and was a certified mechanic. Steven enjoyed experimenting with building furnaces and helping friends with repairs. He liked farming and riding his Harley.
