April 23, 1975 Charles Anthony Wolschlager January 28, 1899 - April 22, 1975 Charles A. Wolschlager, 77, Sheridan Township, died Tuesday in Huron County, Medical Care Facility after a long illness. He was born January 18, 1898, in Sheridan Township. He married Ida T. Mausolf August 23, 1922, in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ruth. Mr. Wolschlager was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bad Axe. He is survived by his wife; five sons; Joseph Wolschlager, Ubly, Maurice and Charles Wolschlager, both of Madison, Heights, John Wolschlager, Bad Axe, and Henry Wolschlager, Roseville; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Guigar, Detroit, Mrs. Helen Mcintosh, Holt, Sgt. Maj. Grace Wolschlager, Fort Sheridan, Inninois, and Mrs. Irma Schroth, Warren; 26 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Michael and Donald Wolschlager, both of Bad Axe, and a sister, Mrs. Agnes Booms, Cleveland. A son, Elmer, died in 1951. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Church. Rev. Raymond Oswald, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The remains will be in MacAlpine Funeral Home, where a Scripture service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Published Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Wed.
