Martin Joseph Wolschlager  
June 30, 1882 - August 10, 1963
Martin Joseph Wolschlager, 81, retired farmer and lifelong resident of Huron 
County, died today In Stevens Nursing Home, Cass City, after a long illness.  
Born June 13, 1882, In Sherman Township, Mr. Wolschlager lived the last 65 years 
In Sheridan Township.  His wife, Mrs. Mary Wolschlager, died in 1949. 

Mr. Wolschlager Is survived by two sons, Thomas Wolschlager, Bad Axe. and Joseph 
Wolschlager, Detroit; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph LaBuhn, Plymouth, Michigan; 1 
foster son Joseph Robowski, Bad Axe; eight grandchildren, three brothers, 
Michael, Charles and Donald Wolschlager, all of Bad Axe, and two sisters, Mrs. 
Mary Scholtz, Harbor Beach, and Mrs. Agnes Booms, Cleveland. 

Mr. Wolschlager was a parishioner of St. Columbkllle Catholic Church in Sheridan 
Township and a life member of Bad Axe Council No. 1,546, Knights of Columbus.  
The remains will be In Alden A. MacAlpine Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Sunday. 
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.  Published Port Huron Times Herald Saturday 
August 10, 1963.

Note:  Son of John & Mathilda (Mausolf) Wolschlager. Married Mary T. Porsche on 
July 5, 1919 in Bad Axe.
