Born May 29, 1879, in Germany, she came with her parents when she was 3 years old to Bingham twp, Huron county. She lived the lst 50 years in Sheridan twp where she and her husband operated a large dairy farm. She is survived by her husband, two foster daughters, Mrs Michael Wolschlager and Miss Jean Wolschlager, both of Bad Axe; four foster sons, Thomas and William Wolschlager, both of Bad Axe; Joseph Wolschlager, Detroit and Chester Kalpin, Royal Oak; and two sisters, Mrs Howard Nugent and Mrs Dan McIntosh, both of Bad Axe. Mr & Mrs Wolschlager also reared five other children. Childless themselves, they provided homes for their foster children and other children. Mrs Wolschlager was a charter member of Fidelis Regina circle, Daughters of Isabella and a member of the Ladies Altar society of Sacred Heart Cath ch. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wed in Sacred Heart ch. Rev Charles A Roark will officiate. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery. The remains are in the family home in Sheridan Twp, where Rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m. Tues.
