Wolschleger February 15, 1956 - August 29, 1976 Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning In Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ruth, for Pauline Wolschleger, 20, who died of injuries received In an automobile accident Saturday night. The Rev. Francis Murray officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. Miss Wolschleger was born February 15, 1956 in Bad Axe and was a 1974 graduate of the Harbor Beach High School. She was employed as a nurse’s aid at the Harbor Beach Community Hospital. Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Wolschleger, Sr., Harbor Beach; seven sisters, Mrs. Earl Deer, Port Hope; Mrs. Edward Welderhold, Elkton, and Charlotte, Shirley, Marlene, Judy, and Susan Wolschleger, all at home; eight brothers, Richard Wolschleger, Ruth, Kenneth Wolschleger, Deckervllle, Mark Wolschleger, Harbor Beach, and LeRoy, Raymond, Bernard, Jerome, Jr., and Michael, all at home, and her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Hitsch, Detroit. Remains were in the Zinger Funeral Home, Ubly. Published Minden City Herald Thursday September 2, 1976. Three persons die in district accidents A Richmond man and Harbor Beach woman were killed and a Marysville man was found dead at the wheel of his car Saturday and Sunday in three area accidents. Dead are: Marvin F. Bascom, 72, of 1363 Wisconsin St., Marysville, a City of Marysville electrical inspector, Miss Pauline L. Wolschleger, 20, Harbor Beach, a nurses aid at Harbor Beach Community Hospital, Dennis M. Bedford, 24, Richmond, foreman at the Coca Cola Bottling Company, Port Huron. Wolschleger was killed at 11:48 pm. Saturday when her car and a truck driven by David C. Wilkowski, 29, Harbor Beach, collided almost head-on on M 25 south of Helena Road near Harbor Beach. Wolschleger had just gotten off duty at Harbor Beach Hospital where she worked as a nurse’s aide and was driving home, said Huron County Sheriff Richard V. Stokan. Stokan said that Wilkowski was taken to Harbor Beach Hospital and later transferred to St. Mary's Hospital, Saginaw, where he Is reported in satisfactory condition today. Wilkowskl was northbound and Wolschleger was southbound on US 25 when the accident occurred. Miss Wolschleger was born February 15, 1956, in Bad Axe. She was a 1974 graduate of Harbor Beach High School. She had been a nurse's aide at Harbor Beach Community Hospital since October 1975. Miss Wolschleger is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Wolschleger Sr , Harbor Beach, seven sisters. Mrs. Earl Deer, Port Hope, Mrs. Edward Wiederhold, Elkton, and Charlotte, Shirley. Marlene, Judy and Susan Wolschleger, all of Harbor Beach, eight brothers; Richard Wolschleger, Ruth, Kenneth Wolschleger. Deckerville, and Mark, Ubly, Raymond, Bernard, Michael and Jerome Woshchleger Jr . all of Harbor Beach, and a grandmother. Mrs. Mary Hitsch, Detroit. Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ruth. The Rev. Francis Murray, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
