Victoria Virginia (Puvalowski) Wrubel

December 15, 1910 - April 8, 2013

Victoria Virginia Wruble, 102, of Holiday, Florida, formerly of Mt. Morris and 
St. Helen, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at Angelica’s Place, in Romeo.  Victoria 
was born December 15, 1910, in Huron County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Albert and Martha (Ulfig) Puvalowski.  She and Steven Wrubel were united in 
marriage on September 28, 1929, in Ubly.



Victoria was a member of St. Vincent DePaul in Florida.  She was also a member 
of the Daughters of Isabella for 25 years.  She enjoyed dancing with the love 
of her life, Steven, for 83 years.  They belonged to the Polish American Club 
in Holiday, Florida.  She loved to travel with her husband, going on multiple 
cruises all over the world.  She spent her free time playing pinochle and 
euchre.  She loved visiting with family and friends all over the United States, 
especially Michigan, Arizona, Florida and California.



Left to cherish her memory are her husband Steven, many nieces, nephews, 
cousins and other loving family and friends.  Victoria was preceded in death by 
her parents, sisters Stella Kozfkay, Blanche Rubel, Anna Gwisdella-Pasterveaki, 
Minnie Maurer, Gertrude Wrubel and Beatrice Chilva.



Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service Friday, April 
12, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. 
Visitation will continue after the service until 5 p.m.  Funeral service will 
be at 3 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Thomas 
Nenneau will officiate with cremation to follow. A memorial Mass will take 
place at a later date.  Friends may share a memory with the family at the 
funeral home or online at www.martinfuneralhome.com.

Norma's Note:  Until her death, Steven and Vicki were the longest married 
living couple in the United States.  They were married 83 years, 1 week and 3 
days.
