Ernest Leo Wrubel
August 16, 1919 - August 19, 2008
Ocala - Mr. Ernest Leo Wrubel, 89, passed away in Ocala, Florida on August 19, 
2008.  He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 16, 1919.  He was a retired 
Finish Carpenter.  He was an Auxiliary Police Officer for the Hialeah, Florida 
Police Dept.  He moved to this area in 2006 from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  He 
was a member of the Carpenter's Union for 50 Years.  He was an Army Veteran 
WWII and served at Pearl Harbor.  He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 
64 years Christine.  He is survived by his daughter Brenda McNeill and her 
husband Bob of Anthony, Florida. A sister-in-law Doris Mauldin of Ft. 
Lauderdale, Florida. Four grandchildren: Steve Martin, Lindsay Rhebb, Megan 
McNeill, Dillon McNeill and three great-grandchildren.   A memorial service 
will take place at the Veterans Memorial Park on 2601 Ft. King St., in Ocala on 
August 27th at 10:00AM. ROBERTS DOWNTOWN CHAPEL 606 SW 2nd Ave. Ocala made the 
arrangements.

Norma's Notes:  Leo was the son of Theodore and Martha (Visga) Wrubel.  He 
married Christine Elizabeth Mauldin, daughter of Thomas Frank and Alice Mcswain 
Mauldin on 21 Jul 1943 in Albemarle, Stanly County, North Carolina.
