Mary Ann was born in Bad Axe on April 19, 1942, daughter of the late Alfred and Evelyn (Glaza) Lemanski. She married Kenneth Wrubel on August 26, 1961, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Parisville. Kenneth preceded her in death on April 10, 2018. Mary Ann was a devoted homemaker and helped out on the family farm. She worked at Clements Manufacturing in Deckerville for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and family time. She attended St. Mary's Church of Parisville and was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality. Mary Ann is survived by her sons, Roger (Teresa) Wrubel of Caseville, Gary Wrubel of Grandville and James (Lori) Wrubel of Troy; grandchildren Nicole (Nick) Dion of Essexville, Ashely Wrubel of Lansing, Stephanie Campbell of Grand Rapids and Cecelia Campbell of Lansing; brother Ron (Linda) Lemanski of Mauldin, SC; sisters Rita (Jim) Osentoski of Ubly and Lorraine (Butch) Barnes of Imlay City. In addition to her husband Kenneth, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her son, Marvin Wrubel; brother, Dennis Lemanski; and sister, Arlene Kociba. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in memory of Mary Ann at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at St. Isadore Parish–St. Mary's Catholic Church in Parisville with Fr. Todd Arnberg officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 4 at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe or from 10 a.m. until the service time of 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. A rosary service will be offered on Tuesday at 4 p.m. by the Holy Rosary Sodality of St. Isadore Parish – St. Mary's Catholic Church of Parisville at the Kaufman Funeral Home.
