Annabelle L. (Booms) Wruble
February 3, 1933 - December 29, 1996
Annabelle L. Wruble, 63, of Eastpointe, died Sunday, at St. John's Hospital of 
Detroit, after a short illness. 

Surviving are her husband, Bernard, of Eastpointe; a son, Thomas Wruble of 
Grosse Pointe Woods; a daughter, Laurie Rubenstein and her husband, Scott, of 
Oakland Township; two grandchildren, Austin and Delaney Rubenstein; six 
sisters, Beatrice Bishop and her husband, Bill, of Memphis, Gertrude Salowitz 
and her husband, Titus, of Palms, Marie Lang and her husband, Donald, of 
Palms, Eleanor Wooldridge of Eastpointe, Gladys Wrubel and her husband, Ira, 
of Harbor Beach, Irene Lemanski and her husband, Richard, of Harbor Beach; 
three brothers, Eugene Booms and his wife, Shirley, of Harbor Beach, Vincent 
Booms and his wife, Bertha, of Harbor Beach, and Angus Booms and his wife, 
Judy, of Harbor Beach. 
She was preceded in death by a son, Bill, in 1956; and two brothers, Melvin 
and Ralph Booms. 

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church of 
Frieburg. The Rev. Jim Profota of St. Basil Catholic Church of Eastpointe will 
officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:30-
9:30 p.m. today, 1-9:30 p.m. Wednesday and from 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the 
Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home, Ubly.
