Richard A. Wruble
May 12, 1931 - April 4, 1960
Richard A. Wruble, 28, manager of the Wruble Twin elevators in Ubly died 
unexpectedly Monday of a heart attack in bis home in Ubly.  Mr. Wruble was 
active in church and civic affairs, being a member of St John's Men’s Club, 
Ubly, Lions Club, and Community Club.   He graduated from Our Lady of Lake 
Huron Catholic School in Harbor Beach in 1949.   Bom May 12, 1931, he was a 
lifelong resident of Huron County.  He was married to Miss Doreen Mausolf of 
Harbor Beach.  She died in 1958.  Later he married Miss Joan Hund of Ubly.  

He is survived by his widow Joan three daughters Debra 8 ½,  Barbara 3, and 
Karen 1, three sons,  Steven 7 ½,  William 6 and Charles 4 ½, his parents 
Mr. and Mrs. George Wruble, Harbor Beach two brothers, Clarence, Harbor 
Beach, and Lawrence, Ubly and a sister Mrs. Alfred (Elaine) Oparka, Harbor 
Beach. 

The remains were in Zinger funeral home at Ubly.  Funeral services were 
conducted at 10 a.m. today (Thursday) in St. John’s church by Rev. Stanley 
A. Kilar.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  The Rosary was recited in 
Zinger funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday by Father Kilar and at 9:15 p.m. 
Wednesday by St. John's Men’s club.  Published Harbor Beach Times Thursday 
April 7, 1960.

Note: Born in Harbor Beach to George & Cecelia (Moy) Wruble.  Married Doreen 
Mausolf 1930-1957 on June 10, 1950 in Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church 
in Harbor Beach.  Married Joan Hund on September 14, 1958 in St. John the 
Evangelist Catholic Church in Ubly.
