Kay was one of seven children and the first child of Clarence and Marjorie Wruble to dedicate her career to the family agricultural business working for many years as the Office Manager in Ubly. Kay's super hero power rested in her commitment to supporting others. She was always your biggest fan, no matter what. She was generous and truly would do anything she could to help anyone, especially her many loved ones. Her disposition grew even sunnier as she grew older. Kay was a cheerleader. She loved watching sports and rooting for her favorite teams, which usually included one of her family members. During her own athletic career, she played a roving forward on the OLLH girls basketball team in the '60's because she was quick and hard to guard. Besides spending time with her family, Kay enjoyed bowling, coaching peewee girls basketball, playing (and usually winning) euchre, and raising her dogs, Mitzi, Cassie, Sadie, Sassy, Joey and Sam. Kay was as loved as she was loving. Her little yellow house served as a social hub for her many nieces and nephews, and their friends, who spent so much of their childhood together, laughing with her. The only rule at Kay’s was, "no putting certs in your Vernors" (she said it made the kids go crazy). Kay was THE best Aunt to 17 nieces and nephews as evidenced by each being able to say, "Kay made me feel like I was important ". Scott and Dave Wruble; Colleen Pricco; Jennifer Tebedo and Gregg Dansereau, Teressa Davidoski and Tim Thatcher, Aaron and Andrea Wruble and Ashley Grapp, Matt, Nathan, and Brad Wruble and Stephanie Hurren. Chad Wruble, Claire McFadden and Jackie Zuidema and each of their partners. Kay was the first to welcome new family members to the clan. She celebrated added spouses and the births and lives of 35 great nieces and nephews. Kay was a remarkable sister to Suzanne and Don Dansereau, Bob and Regina Wruble; Carol Wruble and Bob Binder, Raymond and DebbyKay Wruble, Ron and Debby Wruble, Gary Wruble and Stacy Schadewald, Denise Dillon, Cathy Trudeau and Tim Thatcher. It is hard to say goodbye to our sister. Kay always sat at the kids table. She was everyone's favorite, and magically made you feel like you were her favorite too. Kay lived with grace, love and humor. Her playful spirit will echo in our hearts forever. The family and friends will be visiting at 9:00 on Saturday June 21at Holy Name of Mary Parrish, 413 South First Street, Harbor Beach, Michigan. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:00. You're invited also to a celebration of Kay's life at North Park Pavilion, Harbor Beach, Michigan following the service. Kay spoke fondly of her years attending OLLH, donations can be made to the Catholic School. Arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey Funeral Home.
