Mrs Gustave Zabell
Funeral services for Mrs Laura Zabell, 73, were held Sun afternoon in Our Savior 
Luth ch with Rev Karl H Trautmann officiating. Burial was in Colfax cemetery. Born 
Aug 7, 1874 in Germany, she came to Grindstone City in 1905. She died at noon Fri 
in Bad Axe where she had lived the past 35 years. She is survived by her husband, 
Gustav Zabell; three daughters, Mrs Philip Neesz, Bad Axe; Mrs Martha Millbauer, 
Detroit and Mrs Anna Bostwick, Saginaw, a son, Arthur Zabell, Detroit; eleven 
grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A sister, Mrs Theresa Williams, Detroit 
and a brother and sister in Germany also survive.
