Louise was born February 28, 1923 in Helena to the late Henry and Mary (Weber) Essenmacher. She grew up in Bad Axe and attended school at Sacred Heart Elementary School. She met Daniel Zdrojewski at the Parisville Arcadia Ballroom and they married May 13, 1942 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. They made their home in Palms where they raised four sons. She was a parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Palms for 64 years. She loved nothing more than visits and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to work outside. Louise is survived by her children, Roger Zdrojewski and his wife, Nannette, of Aguila, Arizona, William Zdrojewski of Aguila, Arizona, Phillip Zdrojewski and his wife, JoAnn, of Palms; daughter-in-law, Michelle Lesson and her husband, Fred, of Cass City; grandchildren, Jon (Deidra) Zdrojewski, Dana (Marty) Cooley, Douglas (Shannon) Zdrojewski, Tina (Mike) McKenzie, Lisa (Rodney) Peruski, Kristy (Rick) Moore, Billy (Rachel) Zdrojewski, Danny (Amy) Zdrojewski, Cassie Jo Zdrojewski, Cindy Lou Zdrojewski; great grandchildren, Brandon Vargo, Brandon Zdrojewski, TJ and Bryant Messing, Lauren and Erin Zdrojewski, Samantha and Beth Cooley, Dylan and Rachel Zdrojewski, Hunter and Griffin Peruski, Danielle, Tiffany and Gary Moore, Logan, Tyson and McKenzie Zdrojewski; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gracie Graff, Eddie and Bernita Zdrojewski, Whitey and Doris Zdrojewski, Florence Hamill, Clara Essenmacher; half-brother, Marv Essenmacher; half-sisters, Helen Lemanski and Naomi Rogers; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth, on April 27, 2004, her husband, Daniel, on January 10, 2006, and her half-brother, Robert Essenmacher. A joint memorial Mass for Daniel and Louise will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2006, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Palms. Cremation has taken place. The joint burial for Daniel and Louise will be in the St. Patrick Church cemetery in the spring. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church only. Memorials are requested to the Family Discretionary Fund. Arrangements are being handled by the Smigielski Funeral home in Minden City.
