John Zmich
December 22, 1863 - July 20, 1960
PARISVILLE John Zmich, 96, former resident many years of Huron County, died 
Tuesday in Detroit after a long illness.  Born December 22, 1863, in Shamokin, 
Pennsylvania, Mr. Zmich came when a boy to Huron County.  He and Miss Mary Ann 
Peplinski married in 1884 in St. Mary's Catholic church at Parisville.  They 
lived in Bay City and Detroit after their marriage until they moved in 1919 to 
farm n Bingham Township.  Mrs. Zmich died September 26, 1938.  Since her death, 
Mr. Zmich lived in Detroit with his daughter Miss Evangeline Zmich.

Mr. Zmich is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Jaskowski, Minden City, and 
Mrs. Joseph Heidloff and Miss Zmich, both of Detroit; two sons, Frank, 
Caseville, and Cass, Detroit, 12 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Saturday in Mary's church, 
Parisville, by Rev. Ignatius Woloszyk.  Burial will be in the church cemetery. 
The remains are in Zinger funeral home, Ubly, where Father Woloszyk will recite 
Rosary at 8 p.m. Friday.
