Sylvester Anthony Zurek
May 9, 1920 – November 8, 2012
Sylvester A. Zurek was born May 9, 1920 in Austin Twp., Michigan to Peter and 
Francis (nee: Grimski) Zurek and died November 8, 2012 at the age of 92.   He is 
the beloved husband of 19 years to Isabell (nee: Gosdzinski).  Sylvester is the 
dear father of Phil Zurek, Larry Zurek, Marge (Brad) Dawson, Don (JoAnn) Zurek, 
Ken (Jill) Cartier, Jerry Cartier and Carol (Jerry) Makowski.  He has 12 
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  
Interment of cremains will take place.  Published Lynch & Sons Funeral 
Directors, Walled Lake, Michigan
