Bella Pearl (Gronkovski) Zurek
October 29, 1910 - February 17, 2007
Bella P. Zurek, 96, of Clinton Township, died Saturday, February 17, 2007, 
at Martha T. Berry Medical Facility, Mount Clemens.  Mrs. Zurek was born and 
raised in Pittsburgh and moved to the Detroit area in her late teens.  She 
retired at age 62 from the Women City Club in Detroit.  Her family described 
her as a committed Christian who was active with her church during her 
entire lifetime.

She is survived by her children, Harold (Iris), Mary Ann (James) DeLuca, 
Kathleen Bonnette, Shirley Gornowicz and JoAnne (Walter) Plajstek; 14 
grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her 
granddaughter, Kathleen DeLuca Lamm; and son-in-law, Donald Bonnette.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Blase Catholic 
Church, 12151 15 Mile Road (between Schoenherr and Van Dyke), Sterling 
Heights.  Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.  
Visitation is 3-9 p.m. Saturday and 1-9 p.m. Sunday with a 7 p.m. Scripture 
service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, 36900 Schoenherr Road (at Metropolitan 
Parkway), Sterling Heights.  Additional visitation is 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at
