Two of my great-great grandparent couples jointly donated the land for the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in the 1840s as they also co-founded Immanuel Lutheran Church and school, Sebewaing, which are directly across the street. I can provide their detailed stories if that would be helpful (tell me if that would be wanted...), including their tumultuous immigrations from Germany in the 1810s and 1830s. I will send close-up photos of my family's dozen or so graves bit by bit, but it will take some time to do and I don't have the time today. The attached photo is a panorama of the grounds, with the church steeple in the background and one of my grt-gt-grandparents' graves standing tall in the center, under the tree: Gottfried & Maria (Schilling) Beck, among the founders of the Village.
