She was born Feb. 13, 1898 in Dwight Township, daughter of the late Frank and Hattie (Ignash) Andrejewski. She married Wilhelm "William" Talaski Feb. 7, 1921 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dwight. He proceded her in death Aug. 9 1960. Mrs. Talaski attended St. Hyacinth Cathoic School, Detroit and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rapson. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and a member of St. Rita's Altar Society. Surviving are three sons, Arthur "Archie" Talaski, Filion, Albinus "Alvin" and Elmer Talaski, both of Bad Axe; 33 grand children; and 37 great grandchildren; four brothers, George Andreski, Port Austin, Edward Andreski, Bad Axe, Raymond Andreski, Kinde, and Frank Andreski, Detroit; and three sisters, Margaret Smoger, Detroit and Mary Miller and Florence Schramski, both of Kinde. She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Sigismund "Zigmund" Talaski, July 20, 1981; five brothers; two sisters; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rapson. The Rev. John Cotter will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
