Additional Comments:
The death certificate did not have a day of death, only month and year. 
According to the GETTY-MacDONALD family Bible, "Died 84 yrs. John Getty
Sept. 11, 1914".  As per the Portrait and Biographical Album of Sanilac County,
Michigan 1884, Page 429, John GETTY was born in Upper Canada on April 4, 1931
and married Rebecca Elizabeth SEAMAN in 1858. The 1880 Census John reports
father born NY, mother born unknown.  On 1900 Census he reports his father was
born NY and his mother was born England.  On 1910 Census he reports both his
parents were born in NY.  His place of residence at the time of his death was
Ubly, Bingham Twp., Huron County, Michigan.  John is buried next to his wife
Rebecca E. GETTY in Valley Cemetery, Village of Ubly, Bingham Twp., Huron
County, Michigan.
