Obituary Notice: (Correction should read: Jerry Sigismund Talaski)
  Zigmund J. Talaski, Bad Axe, 57, died Monday, 20 July 1981 in William 
Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, after a short illness. He was born Dec. 23, 1923 
in Bloomfield Twp, Huron Co, Michigan. He married Genevieve Roberts March 25, 
1947 in Louisville, Kentucky.
  Mr. Talaski was a retired Lincoln Township farmer and carpenter.  He also 
worked for road construction for 20 years, retiring in 1973 because of ill 
health.  He was a charter member of Rapson Sportsmen's Club.
  He is survived by his wife; six sons, Jerry, Elkton, Randall, St Petersburg, 
Fl, William, Alan, Andrew and Brian, all of Bad Axe; six daughters, Mrs. 
Charles (Denise,aka "Dee") Kern, Port Huron, Mrs. Keith (Deborah, aka "Debra") 
Faber, Sebawaing, Mrs. Anthony (Donna)Indo and Delphine Talaski, both of 
Kinde, Diane and Deirdre Talaski, both of Bad Axe; 11 grand children; his 
mother, Mrs. Cecelia Talaski of Bad Axe; and three brother, Arthur 
(aka "Archie")of Filion, and Alvin and Elmer, both of Bad Axe.
  Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday in St. Joseph's Catholic 
Church, Rapson. The Rev. Stephen Sramek, O.S.B, pastor, will officiate.  
Burial will be in the church cemetery
