Comments: This scenic area lies between two ravines around which flows Heron Creek. The cemetery is overseen by Alaiedon Township. Approximately 66 pioneers were interred at the site of the Truman Rockwell family farm from 1850 to 1926. No map of the burials is known to exist. Many tombstones are broken, eroded, and illegible. Several gravesites cannot now be located. "To be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child. For what is the worth of human life, unless it be woven into the life of our ancestors by the records of history?" –Cicero Tombstone Transcriptions (43, alphabetical): *note: Biographical information related to each tombstone transcription is presented separately, following the complete listing of transcriptions.
