INFORMATION RELATIVE TO RULES OF ADMISSION
    The rules of admission to the Home are so little understood by the members 
at large we have deemed it advisable to publish in this, our first issue, the 
rules in full, and suggest that the secretaries file this copy in the records 
of the lodge for future reference.

RULES OF ADMISSION
    This Home is not founded for, and is not to be used as a hospital for the 
care of persons temporarily disabled by sickness or accident.  It is 
established for the care and maintenance of the members of the Order who are 
unable to earn a livelihood by reason of the infirmities of age and the 
afflictions incident thereto, and are in indigent circumstances, without other 
means of support; and of the infirm and helpless wives and widows of such; and 
of the helpless orphans of members of the Order, who are without other and 
proper provisions for their care and education; and of female members in good 
standing in Rebekah Lodges in this Jurisdiction, who may have been admitted 
under the provisions of subdivisions 2 and 3 of Sec. 6, Rebekah Code, and who 
are not the wives or widows of Odd Fellows, and who by reason of age and 
infirmity are unable to provide and care for themselves...."

Orla B POLLOK was a member of the Odd Fellows - have receipts from 1916-1918.
