Obituaries from Clare Co. Cleaver, May 24, 2001

Gerald L. Brabbs, Jr., 47 of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on May
20, 200l.  He was born October 5, 1953 in Lansing, Michigan and moved to
Punta Gorda in 1987.  He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald
Brabbs, Sr.
      Survivors include is wife, Judy, his mother Lucy Roberge, two
sisters, Michele Johnson and Pamala Hamilton and nephew Michael, all of
Punta Gorda, Florida.  He also leaves an extended family, Amanda
Merchant, Charlene Steen, Elizabeth Carroll, Carl Doniniak, Jack
Merchant, Ron Merchant and ll nieces and nephews.
      A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Mary 24 at 7:00 pm at
Kays Ponger Royal Palm Funeral Home, Punta Gorda, Florida.
      A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 26 at 3:00 pm at
Pleasant Plains Cemetery Harrison, Michigan.
