March 11, 1926, Richmond, NY/d. May 30, 1903 Dr. Fiske Holbrook Day died in Lansing, Michigan on May 30, 1903. Dr. Day was a pioneer physician and resident of Wauwatosa. In 1892 he retired after 40 years as a practicing physician and moved to Lansing. Dr. Day was born in Richmond, NY, March 11, 1926. He graduated from Jefferson Medical college in Philadelphia in 1849, and located in Wauwatosa in 1851. Mrs. Day died in 1889. The doctor is survived by four daughters, Mrs. B.F. Davis, of Lansing, Mich., Mrs. W.L. Culver, of Oakland, Cal., Mrs. John J. Bush, of Lansing, and Mrs. J.L. Buckbee, of Rockford, Ill. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. F.S. Gray, of the Episcopal Church, with interment at Wauwatosa Cemetery. Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Bush and Mrs. Buckbee, with their husbands, were present. (Wauwatosa News [Wisconsin], June 6, 1903) jic
