Ionia Sentinel Standard – Monday, 1 April 1957

Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, funeral services were conducted for Wm. J. 
Hodgkins, 81.  He died at the Ionia County Memorial hospital Wednesday.  The 
Rev. George L. Rentschler officiated and interment was in Tuttle cemetery.

Bearers were Blaine Laden, Charles McFaden, James Powers, Walter Perrien, 
Norbert VerPorter and William Storch.

Attending from out of town were Richard Hodgkins and family of Greenville, Mr. 
and Mrs. Walter Bennett of Owosso, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bloom of Lansing, Mr. and 
Mrs. Ralph Rockwell, Mrs. Lula Ellison Gasper, Mr. and Mrs. tanner, Mr. and 
Mrs. James Hogerheide, Francis Hogerheide, Mrs. Earl Fosberg, J. H. Rhoades 
Sr., Lawrence Schultz and Charles Fichwerda of Grand Rapids, Leo Richmond of 
Rockford, Mrs. harry Richmond of Lowell and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hauser man of 
Belding.
