Obituary from the Clare Sentinel February 10, 1982:

ELLEN ALMEDA HENDERSON, 87 OF 1527 OKEMOS ROAD, MASON, MI. A
FORMER RESIDENT OF CLARE DIED ON FEBRUARY 1, AT THE MASON GENERAL HOSPITAL

     Ellen was the daughter of Edward and Carrie (Leach) Van Conant. She 
Was born in Clare on September 12, 1894.

     Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Valdeen Warren of Mason, and 4
grandchildren.  Sue Oesterle of Holt, Diane Baldori of East Lansing, 
Colleen Warren of Belmont, California and Lisa St. Clair of Dimondale, and 2
great-grand children, Blair W. Oesterle and Anna Baldori.

     Funeral services were held Thursday, February 4, from the Coker 
Funeral Home, Clare Chapel,   Buriel was in the Cherry Grove Cemetery with Rev.
Martin Rosa officiating.
